What is Blackout Tees background?
Blackout Tees began in 2009, offering custom screen printing and embroidery for schools, team apparel, and parody tees. In 2016, we proudly transitioned into serving union members and became signatory to the IBEW. All employees are proud members of IBEW Local 1347 in Milford, Ohio. Today, we specialize in high-quality, union-made, and USA-made apparel and merchandise for labor unions across the country.
What Kind of Products Do You Offer?
We provide custom screen-printed and embroidered apparel, including t-shirts, hats, polos, jackets, and more. We also offer custom union-made stickers. Every product is either USA-made or union-made. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, reach out! We work with other trusted union shops and can source or custom-produce items for your local.
What is the production time for online orders?
We allow 10–14 business days for production before shipping most website orders. While many orders ship sooner, please allow this timeframe, especially during peak periods. Items like FR wear, Camber gear, and varsity jackets may take up to 4 weeks or longer. If you're on a deadline, contact us—we’ll do our best to meet it!
How Do You Handle Shipping?
Orders under $100 are shipped via USPS. Orders over $100 go out via UPS. Some packages may require a signature upon delivery. Once your order ships, we are not responsible for transit delays, but we’re happy to assist if you need rush service—just contact us first!
Do you offer bulk orders for locals?
Absolutely! We handle bulk screen printing and embroidery orders for locals nationwide. Our dedicated sales reps can walk you through everything—from design to delivery. Just give us a call or send an email and we’ll set you up.
Do you charge setup, art, or screen fees?
Never! We don’t charge art, screen, or digitizing fees for bulk orders. Our in-house union designer provides quick turnarounds—often the same day or within 24 hours. If a design needs more time, we’ll let you know upfront.
Can I request a catalog?
Yes! We have physical catalogs we can mail to your union or a digital version we can send via email. Just drop us a line and let us know what format works best for you.
Do You Accept Custom Designs or Logos?
Yes! Whether you're submitting a custom union logo, artwork, or idea, we can bring it to life. Our on-site designer will collaborate with you to make sure your product looks exactly how you envision it.
